Article title: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchprotocols.org\/2026\/1\/e82815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>HealthData@MAD-R&amp;I: Protocol for Design and Development of a Regional Health Data Infrastructure to Enable Secondary Use of Health Data in Research and Innovation<\/i><\/a> (Various Authors, 2026).   The article describes the design of the HealthData@MAD-R&amp;I\u00ae project\u2019s health data space, including its federated architecture, the work model based on 9 work packages, and validation through 4 real-world use cases. The project is led by the Directorate General for Research and Teaching, together with the Directorate General for Digital Health and the Foundation for Primary Care Bio-Health Research and Innovation (FIIBAP).
